I Miss Caltrain
February 16, 2008
It’s been almost two years now since I’ve been away from my home, the Bay Area. There’s something about the Bay Area that I love; the atmosphere, the progressive culture, the global and experimental music scenes, the Masala, and all that magical aura of Cupertino. I recall sacred experiences seemed to come so often. There’s a certain magic there in the Bay Area, and people are more relaxed and open. I remember traveling on Caltrain and meeting interesting people in the afterhours on my way to Sunnyvale. I miss sitting by the dock of the bay vis-a-vis endless blue skies, I miss the entire aura, and I miss home. I’m ready to pack some boxes and move back… In the meantime there’s three more months to enjoy tea time in the evenings, Jared and I.

hmm, only three more months. i just realized it’s been almost a year since i last saw you. i should have time this summer, but you’ll be gone by then. we’ll figure something out.
you’re still a bummer about pittsburgh’s weather. a couple weeks ago i was driving to work, and i thought it was absolutely beautiful. the trees were perfectly covered with snow, all the yards were smooth and untouched, and there was early morning sun.
did you go sledding at the pete tuesday? there had to be plenty of snow for it. it wasn’t until my roomie from florida went that she able to develop any appreciation for the snow.
